St Edmund’s Church, Kessingland, Suffolk

Created in memory of the Kessingland driftermen. The design encompasses the history of the village - its boat building and fishing industries. In celebrating the history of Kessingland, the windows capture the spirit of God’s presence through nature and the power of light.

The design depicts shoals of fish in a grid of nets. Boat sails rise up through the centre, their shape gradually changing and merging with the gulls and sky.
