St Martin’s Church, Canterbury, Kent

One of the oldest parish churches in the country, this window was commissioned for the sanctuary. The theme was taken from St. John Chapter 17 Verse 21. "That they may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us.… May they all be one".

A north facing window, the design is full of rich reds, blues and oranges. A design full of movement, pathways from different directions zig zag upwards towards a golden orb of fiery orange glass. The orb, an orange circle - a perfect shape - is symbolic of perfection and perfect attainment.

“I can't thank you enough - I find your window touches me to the heart...”- Nicole Haddon
